Where everyone speaks!

Okay, I know this is coming in a little late but hey, it's still before 12.00 A.M. So, Happy Merdeka Everyone! How did you spend your time yesterday night and today? Heard that many of you went for the countdown while enjoying the fireworks. Ah well, as for me I was at home on the computer after doing some work in church till 12.00. Fireworks were heard but not visible as my line of sight was hindered by the apartment buildings in my neighbourhood. Went to sleep at 1.30 A.M. to wake up to a new day at 7.30 A.M.

Went to church at 8.15 A.M. to make our way to Zoo Negara by bus. A total of 37 people boarded the bus. The trip to Zoo Negara is tiring! We returned home at 4.15 P.M. and reached only at 5.00 P.M. Busy processing the pictures~!

To all you readers, if you'd think I spent my holidays rotting at home, I'm sorry to break it for you. I didn't. I did explore the world a little =). It was a humid morning on the first day of the holidays. Well, it drizzled on the way to Bukit Gasing. Giju with his green "Ferrari II" picked me up and the guys before heading for the Federal Highway. And there stood Bukit Gasing after twenty minutes of road. Going to the top was took a short amount of time but nevertheless tiring. Maybe it's just because I'm not fit! Oh well, two days ago I was taking photos for the birthday bash. Guess my knees took its toll as a result of bending too much. Reaching the top was a relieve. We enjoyed the view from a observation tower built there while feeding the mosquitoes. The way down was longer and even more tiring. Along the way, we came across many crossroads which leads to different paths. One is the exit and the latter, another route. Of course we took the one which leads to the exit. The forest was so humid that sweat evaporating from our bodies could be seen. It was cool! Just like releasing "chakra" or "reiatsu". With Bukit Gasing conquered, we went to the nearest resturant and ate breakfast. Home was the next destination after that. Bon Voyage! Anyone interested in conquering Bukit Gasing can give me a call! I might be interested. Ha ha!

On the 24th of August 2007, some of the former form fives of SMK USJ 12 gathered at a nearby mamak bistro. It was a time to fellowship and also to rekindle fading relationships. Besides that, it's also a good opportunity to see changes to our fellow schoolmates!! We made a heck lot of noise and rearranged the tables in the bistro. Luckily we were the only patrons who were sitting inside. The others were on the roadside. =) Went home at 10.30 PM. Just look at the pictures for more details!

Life's been quite busy these days. Going out every now and then. Don't even have time for me to sort the pictures and post on my blog! Not to mention homework too! Okay, maybe I'm spending too much time sleeping. x)

My parents sold the family car which has served my family for as long as I can remmeber. For how much? Cheap enough that even a fresh graduate will be able to pay for it with his first pay. Oh well, the new owner shall have the car third hand. Muahahha!!!





Besides selling the family treasure away, my parents also bought my sis a laptop as she will be going to Hong Kong to further her studies.

This post is the final sequel to the FGA USJ Children's 2nd Birthday Bash. After the praise and worship session, tables were lined up at the front with birthday cakes on them. Children who were celebrating their birthdays ( their birthdays need not fall on the exact day of the celebration ) took their places at the table, in front of their cake with a candle in the middle of it. Not forgetting those whose childhood are only memories, they too got a cake. Well, provided their birthdays fall in a range of a few months. As per norm, the birthday song was sung. No bashing this time however. xD















It was time for the main highlight of the event! An act by "Kang Kang" and friends! The theme this time was making the right choice. A sequel to the previous act which was performed few months ago. The act started off with a short multimedia presentation and of course the PCK theme song. The stage brighten up and there were two persons. The one with the yellow hair was Freddie and his worker "Kai Pei" ( Drumstick ). Can't recall how the story goes. However, here's the rough plot. Freddie, dishonest as always, builds his client's house from "borrowed" bricks along with poor workmanship. Freddie, his worker and the client ends up in jail for further investigation. Kang Kang takes RM 500 to bail Freddie out from jail and have a talk with him. Freddie changes for the better and they managed to complete the house in the end. -.-"

































An altar call was made right after that. Well, a short message was given before the altar call on where we would end up after we die. Many children responded to the call. Wohoo!



Finally, it was the prize giving "ceremony". Children receives their gifts and were sent on their way downstairs to receive their goodies. Burger, Ribena, Kit Kat, Apple Pie and a balloon. =P. Before that, a group picture of those who celebrated their birthdays!

Moving on from where I left, it was game time after the crowd settled! The first two games played were for the older kids. Two youths took the microphone and kicked off the first game. The first game included the whole crowd but mainly those at the front were the main players. Well, you'll see why. The objective of the game was to get as many balloons as possible to the opposite team. The teams? Traditional boys vs. girls. As usual, the girls dominated and crushed the boys. Sad sad. It wasn't like that during my time.







The second game was a little obstacle course. Not attempting to get over high walls or swinging from a rope but just require the consumption of coke and biscuit. Well of course the participants were not told what it was. Five brave boys and girls took the challenge. The game started with a countdown and the boys took the lead by a large margin. Confidence in the boys team grew. It was quite a close race if I remembered correctly. I'm guessing that the boys won. Or was it the girls? My memory is failing me.













Not forgetting the younger kids, games were also organised for them. Two games also. It was organised by another group of youths though. The games involved obstacles which had treats at the end or throughout the course. At the end of the games, not only did they have fun but also a full stomach. No need for dinner!















A last game which was similar to the first game, (balloons) was played as there was ample of time. However, the rules of the game was inverted. The team with the most balloons at the end winds. Of course a rule to prevent teams from holding the balloon and not hitting towards the other team was formulated.



Next was an introduction done my the head of the Children's Ministry. Rules and hand signals for the whole session were explained and tested. Newcomers were welcomed and given an appreciation gift. Many gifts were given out as there were many of them!











Without further delay, the "Vegetable" team was introduced! What on earth are vegetables doing here? They were heading the praise and worship session. The team consisted of one brinjal, two capsicums and fellow guitarists, pianist and the drummer. The worship leader was the brinjal with "its" backup singers, the capsicums. I could've sworn that one of the capsicums is a secret agent! (Go guess who it is. No prize given =P). The kids had a good time of course with the jumping and ecetera.
