Moštenica (Hungarian: Mosód) is a village and municipality in Banská Bystrica District in the Banská Bystrica Region of central Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1340. One of Jakob Fugger's smelting plants was located in the settlement.[4]
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 452 metres (1,483 ft)[2] and covers an area of 13.42 km2 (5.18 sq mi) (2025).[1]
