Photo in question
Pinging @1timeuse75 for adding template requesting images. Should this photo be used? Previously it was decided not to use this photo, as it was believed that no photo was the better option. TansoShoshen (talk) 06:30, 10 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
@TansoShoshen the template Improve images is asking if someone has a photograph of subject to then submit their work. I hope that by adding the Improve images template this will give a better chance of someone who has a better picture of Johnson to be submit their work to the article.

That column is a bit of a headache. For the 2011/12 Your Favorite Martian music videos reuploaded in 2021, it seems we're only using the view counts from the reupload and not adding in the original version? For example, "Grandma Got a Facebook" is listed as having 2.8 million views, but the original upload amassed (at least) 26.4 million views (Archive.org link) before being privated and the reupload currently has 4.3 million. If my fickle memory serves, some of the videos could only be seen via reuploads to other channels for a few years, which may distort the figures further.
I propose just getting rid of the column, with my second-preferred option being a best effort at summing the archived and reupload view counts (in this example, 30.7 million views) with comments so editors know what is going on. hello! i found several problems with this article so I added some cleanup notices. one, there is a lot of reliance on primary sources, specifically shorts or videos uploaded by Johnson when no other reliable source is given. And some seemingly unreliable articles are used repeatedly (some article called "Top fifteen YouTubers" is not a good source and it is used several times throughout the article). second, the overall writing style and formatting of the article is a little sloppy. sections are incomplete, some not detailed enough, some excessively detailed; and the citations are not spaced properly. that's all, hope we can work on improving this BLP to meet Wikipedia's standards. ~2026-54431-94 (talk) 08:07, 10 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
