Help with histsplit?
[edit]Hey voorts! Sorry to bother and apologies if there's some other way to request this other than bothering an admin. I think Studium and punctum needs a WP:HISTSPLIT, as it looks like it went through iterations of being other articles before turning into the one it currently is, is this something you might be willing/able to help with? đ¸â wasianpowerâ đ¸ (talk ⢠contribs) 03:20, 1 September 2026 (UTC)
- Not really my area of expertise. voorts (talk/contributions) 13:44, 1 September 2026 (UTC)

Weird experiment, willing to try?
[edit]Can you try to quick fail (or review, or pass) my nom for Philip Slater that's been sitting over at WP:GAN#CULTURE for less than a year? No hard feelings if you do fail it. And you don't have to accept this. Just curious if your streamlined style might be a way forward. Thnaks. Viriditas (talk) 01:53, 3 September 2026 (UTC)
Follow-up on COIN report
[edit]Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#Andrew_F._Cooper
Thanks for speedy resolution. On closing you advised "In the future, WP:SPI is the place to report socking". Just to note I didn't think I was making a sock report, since the editor had (eventually) disclosed their paid status and seemed to me to be an actual 3rd party but with COI re: the article. The COIN report was about their lack of co-operation with the paid COI editing process. Did I post that in the wrong noticeboard? SuperFastSpellChecker (talk) 17:53, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
- I was a bit confused by your report; it seemed like you were reporting socking. If an editor has already disclosed their COI, there's nothing to be done at COIN (see the instructions at the top of the page). If an editor with a disclosed COI is being disruptive, go to ANI if it's urgent or AN if it isn't. voorts (talk/contributions) 15:10, 7 September 2026 (UTC)
- Got it, thanks for the direction. SuperFastSpellChecker (talk) 15:13, 7 September 2026 (UTC)
