Description

On MacOS and many CI runners, jq is installed by default. On many linux distributions, it is not. The result is the hk check --all will appear to fail. This PR lets mise install it. The fix was verified on debian stable.

Greptile Summary

Adds jq 1.8.2 to the mise-managed development toolchain so Linux contributors and CI jobs can run jq-dependent checks without relying on a system installation.

  • Pins jq alongside the repository’s other mise-managed tools.
  • Makes jq available through existing mise install and CI setup paths.

Confidence Score: 5/5

The PR appears safe to merge, with no actionable correctness, security, or tooling issue identified.

The jq declaration follows the repository’s existing mise tool syntax and is consumed by the established contributor and CI setup paths without changing application behavior.

Important Files Changed

Filename Overview
mise.toml Adds a conventional, version-pinned jq declaration to the existing mise tool configuration; no actionable defect was established.
