The dense GEMM NVFP4 epilogue encoded each 16-value block with the FP32 block scale but stored the E4M3-rounded scale, so readers decoded with a different scale than the one used to encode. When the scale saturates at 448, every non-max element decodes at 448 / sf of its value (e.g. -472.8 came back as -224). Encode with the stored E4M3 scale instead, matching TensorRT-LLM's cvt_warp_fp16_to_fp4. test_fp4_swiglu_and_packed_output_contract measured accuracy with the default encode scale of 1, which caps |output| at 448 * 6 = 2688, while this problem reaches ~4e3. The result depended on the RNG stream's absmax: 0.335 on B200/B300, 0.394 on GB200/GB300/VR, against a 0.35 bound. Keep the default-scale contract checks, measure accuracy with a calibrated output_quant_scale, and tighten the bound to 0.2 (theory ~0.177; measured 0.176 with this fix, 0.225 without it). Validated on B200 and B300 with tests/prims_ts/test_gemm_fp4.py, test_gemm_fp8.py and test_gemm_autotune.py. AI-assisted commit. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

#5758 (feat(prims-ts): add FP8/NVFP4 GEMMs with SwiGLU and RoPE fusion) was picked into rc3 from the open PR as 7 commits, 2df6344..5586edd. It has since merged on main as 3f94a47. All 17 files it touches are byte-identical between that commit and this branch, so this commit is intentionally empty. It records the provenance so that `git log --grep "#5758"` and `git cherry` find the PR on release. (cherry picked from commit 3f94a47) Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
๐ Description
Add dense Prims-TS GEMM APIs for FP8 and packed NVFP4, including linear, fused SwiGLU, and QKV with QKNorm and RoPE operations. Add prepared NVFP4 linear operations and autotuning with cached tactic selection. The NVFP4 implementation
includes SM103 3x support and specialized epilogues.
Add correctness and autotuning tests, plus a GEMM benchmark.
