bindings: command() with a single positional None raises 'Ambiguous overloads' #172

Closed

Description

@tae898

db.command("sql", "DELETE FROM T WHERE p = ?", None) with a single positional None (also [None] or (None,)) raises ArcadeDBError: Ambiguous overloads found for LocalDatabase.command(str,str,NoneType). db.query("sql", "SELECT FROM T WHERE p = ?", None) with the same arguments works, and so does command with two positional arguments. Seen on the 26.10.1.dev0 wheel (engine b22b5e9954) while writing the tripwires for upstream ArcadeData#9238.

Expected: a single None binds the one positional parameter, as query does. JPype cannot choose between command(String, String, Object...) and command(String, String, Map) for a Python None; the bindings should pass an explicit Object[] (as query presumably does), with a test for None, [None], and (None,) on both command and query.
