Guardiola de Berguedà is a municipality in the comarca o the Berguedà in Catalonie. It is situatit at the confluence o the Bastareny an Llobregat rivers in the north o the comarca. It is a important local commercial centre, an for this raison haes been less affectit bi depopulation than ither municipalities in the Berguedà. The extraction o lignite is important tae the local economy an aw. The toun is servit bi the C-1411 road frae Berga tae the Cadí tunnel, an is linkit tae La Pobla de Lillet an Castellar de n'Hug bi the B-402 road. The municipality includes a muckle exclave tae the north-wast.
