Steam Link -> Steam Deck resolution/scaling issues
Couldn't find anything about this so posting in the hopes it gets seen.

Steam Link used to work fine when streaming from a Steam Deck with any resolution.
Since a few months ago, whenever you start a streaming session to a Steam Deck with either the Steam Link Windows app or from a physical Steam Link, if the Deck's resolution is set to anything above 720p the image doesn't scale and it gets cut off from the Link's screen.

This is what 1080p looks like for example:

Only on 720p will the screen scale correctly, but this results in pretty low quality. It does work fine otherwise.

I've played with all possible settings on both the host and the client but nothing fixed the scaling issue. Hoping the devs will see this so it can get fixed.

Thanks for reading, have a good one.

Maybe a recent update to Steam Deck had caused the issue?? Because they stopped supporting Steam Link a while ago now. So, if there's anything to be fixed, that's connected to the Steam Link; it'll have to be fixed through the other end that's connecting with it, in this case, Steam Deck's end. Don't have a Steam Deck yet, so I can't exactly help that much, as far as I know. Just have to keep tinkering with the settings and such.
steam link is still fully supported

windows display scaling has always caused problems
after some years of updates the problem just got worse. Sometimes the connection or video stream stops but the controls and sound still function.
