steam link green screen? colors all messed up!!! help
hi i am streaming my steamlink to my tv. eveything works perfectly fine. until i connect to my pc. then when it goes to big screen mode. its all messed up on my tv. actions still go through its just the colors are all out of place and just looks horrible/unplayable. i would like to know what is the issue.

Is the hdmi cable fully plugged in?

yes it is fully plugged in. like i said it works i set it up watched it update then i typed in my code. when i go into bigscreen mode on both devices. goes to ♥♥♥♥ on steam link/tv part. pc is perfectly fine

no i will try now. i notice in bigscreen mode while im broadcasting. i exit broadcasting. it goes back to steam link mode on my tv and it working. but when in big screen mode it dont work. could it be something with broadcasting from point a to point b

Just try restarting. I haven't had this error yet so I don't know much about it

i have restarted my pc. still having issue. i have the steam link plugged into my pc and then the tv. i donot have anything plugged into internet iam doing that wirelessly

Have you tried starting big picture on your pc before streaming with Steam?

yes. i just tryed. same issue works fine on pc but as soon as big picture mode on steam link opens its glitchy screen on tv/steamlink

Hi Guys,

I've finally found a fix for this problem, at least for me.

Go in your steam big picture settings, in-home streaming, advanced host options, and tick prefer NVFBC capture method.

Also make sure steam overlay and broadcasting are disabled.

Voila! Finally Homeworld on the TV.

actually i have an nvidia card and i was grtting the goofy green screen on both the steam link and when streaming to my intel based surface pro. turning OFF nvfbc is what fixed it for me
