z fold 8 gaming problem
Hello everyone

I Just got my new z fold 8 ultra and when i log into steam link i get the black border at the top and bottom. i have tried going into my computer and change the setting on display and went into remote play and match client with streaming display resolutions but i cant get it full screen. when i play gta i cant see the map at all. any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a streaming_log.txt from the host PC that might show what resolutions it's trying to negotiate?

Basically, if you are asking it to match client resolution, it will find the closest match your PC can do (which will be driven by the connected monitor).

If you are using SudoVDA as a virtual display, I would expect it to be able to match any resolution (even the almost-square resolution of the opened Z Fold 8) since SudoVDA can do *any* resolution, but if you are not using SudoVDA I would expect it to find whatever the 'closest' resolution is that your actual monitor can handle.

look up the native resolutions of the phone, then add them to gpu control panel and enable gpu scaling
