Steam Link: Controller and Touch Input Not Working In-Game
In Big Picture mode, both the touch controls and my Xbox controller work perfectly. However, as soon as I launch the game, neither input method works — the game does not respond to any controller or touch input at all.

Strangely, I can still bring up the Steam overlay using the controller, and it works fine there, so the inputs are definitely recognized by Steam. It seems like the game itself simply doesn’t detect or respond to any input once it starts.

What could be the problem? How can I fix it?
I want to play games from my PC by streaming them to my phone, but I can’t because the games don’t respond to any input

same i thought wow this would be cool while im away but i guess we cant do it in 2026 seems to have been a bug for the last 7 years from what i see shame and it just puts a sour taste in my mouth for steam
Is this happening for *every* game? Or a specific game?

If it's a specific game, is the game a Steam game? Or is it a non-Steam game added to the Steam library?

Also, this is posted in the OG Link hardware forum (the little Linux box you plugged into your TV), but I'm assuming from mention of the touch input controls that this is actually on the iOS or Android client. If so, which one?
does it work with bpm?

check that the controller is recognized by steam when you begin streaming
and its mapping for desktop mode and each game
