Outdated Freedesktop Platform Runtimes (23.08 EoL) Used by SteamLink in flatpack install
Problem Description
When running the flatpak update command, multiple End-of-Life (EoL) warnings are displayed for the org.freedesktop.Platform runtimes of version 23.08. These runtimes are no longer supported and will not receive security or bug fixes.

Based on the Flatpak output, the installed com.valvesoftware.SteamLink package is dependent on these outdated runtimes and extensions.

Affected Components
Application: com.valvesoftware.SteamLink
Outdated Runtimes/Extensions (EoL):
org.freedesktop.Platform branch 23.08
org.freedesktop.Platform.VAAPI.Intel branch 23.08
org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default branch 23.08-extra
org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default branch 23.08

Steps to Reproduce
Ensure SteamLink is installed as a Flatpak.
Run flatpak update in the terminal.

Expected Behavior
The application should be migrated to the currently supported version of the Freedesktop Platform runtime (e.g., 24.08 or later) to resolve the EoL warnings and ensure the application continues to receive necessary security updates.

Flatpak Output
flatpak update

It looks like the next version (currently in beta) has this covered with upgrades to 25.08: https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/10/603043591290461319/
