any usb devices plugged into it?

if you can verify its not a power problem
that would point to bga issues (cracked solder joints under the bga chips)
warming up would flex the cracked joints making them conduct better

try testing in warm/cold conditions, use heat pad or ice packs to see if it responds differently

tech repair shop should be able to reflow them, but may not be cheap and is not always a 100% fix
