Black flashes
Hi everyone,
strange issue here: when I run on my computer Syberia 2 on Steam I have no problem, but when I run it on my hardware Steam Link (set at 1920x1080) the screen starts flashing in black on my TV every 2 seconds. It doesn't happen on the original Syberia 1 with the same settings.
Any fix or hint?
I sent the same message to the game community, but maybe someone had the same issue with the same or other games here.

what client type?

does it do that with other games?

it may just be the clients display
test it on the host pc, or another device

On the 4K desktop display where Steam runs I have no problem with this game.
When I stream it via my hw steam link on my Samsung 50'' TV this side effect occurs.
Never seen this behaviour with other games (Syberia 1 included which is two years older than Syberia 2)
The video card is a GeForce GTX 1650 super with the latest driver and I'm on Windows 11 24H2.
Maybe a matter of compatibility or resolution settings?

the host has a 1650s?

the client is link hardware to 4ktv?

are you using the remake on steam version?

try the dgvoodoo wrapper for glide and old d3d games

Yes
What remake? It is the original and only Syberia 2, but I also have the remastrred version of the first Syberia.
... and I will invesrigate about that wrapper. As I said, the first Syberia that is 2 years older has no issue like this.
