Steam Link Android phone with Bluetooth mouse
I'm streaming from my Android phone to my Windows PC. When playing games using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, clicking the left, middle, or right mouse button triggers an Enter key press.

I've tried two different Bluetooth mice, and the problem persists. However, I don't have this issue with Google Play or other streaming services, and I don't have this problem when streaming from one Windows PC to another.

Hm. This one I couldn't reproduce; a Bluetooth mouse worked fine on both the phone and tablet I tested with. Can you provide more details? (Mouse type, Android version, what phone or tablet or Android TV box you're using?)
Mouse model : Logitech pebble、darkFlash DFM80 PROBT
One UI version: 5.1 is based on the Android 13 operating system.
Current version: G781BXXSIHYJ1/G781BOXMIHYJ1/G781BXXSIHYJ1
Samsung S20 FE
To double-check -- is this on the beta, or the current release build of Steam Link?
In fairness, my test scenario is not identical, as I've got a Samsung S21 running One UI 7.0 (based on Android 15). But my test scenario was:

* Connect Logitech bluetooth mouse to phone
* Connect bluetooth keyboard to phone
* Stream from desktop PC
* Using mouse, select Stardew Valley (since the game supports mouse/keyboard)
* Wobble mouse cursor around, click, select Exit
* Tab out, test navigating in web browser via mouse.
* End streaming.

...and for me, the mouse worked as expected the whole time.

If there are other steps I can try to more accurately mimic your use case and hopefully reproduce it, let me know?
I'm using the Steam Link (Beta) app.
Could you help me test the following:
In the game *Far Far West*,
shooting opens a chat window (default Enter key).
In the game *Russian Fishing 4*,
the reel opens and closes (default Enter key).
If everything works fine on your end, then it might be a conflict between your phone's operating system and Steam Link.
I also encountered the same problem using a Galaxy Tab A8 One with UI 6.1 and Android 14. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Steam and Steam Link on both my phone and computer, restoring them to factory settings, but the problem persisted. I also tried streaming my friend's Steam PC client using my phone and Bluetooth mouse, but the same thing happened. I don't know what's wrong with me.
I still can't reproduce this here, I'm afraid, even using Far Far West and clicking. The mouse click is handled as a mouse click in my test, not as Enter. :(

Can you provide any other info? Do you have a keyboard or controller connected alongside the mouse, for instance? And is the host you're streaming from a Windows box, or is it MacOS or Linux? Anything else you can think of that might be useful.
Here is a consolidated summary of my current findings:

Environment:

Steam Link (Beta) on Android

Samsung S20 FE (Android 13 / One UI 5.1)

Galaxy Tab A8 (Android 14 / One UI 6.1)

Host PC: Windows 11

Input setup:

Bluetooth keyboard + Bluetooth mouse (usually both connected)

Tried different Bluetooth mice

Also tested different PCs

Issue:
Mouse clicks (left/middle/right) are incorrectly interpreted as the Enter key inside games

Happens across multiple games

Mouse works normally in Steam Link UI and Android system outside of games

What I have already ruled out:

Not a single mouse device issue

Not a specific game issue

Not a single PC issue

Reinstalling Steam / Steam Link and factory reset did not help

I will report back with results from these tests. Let me know if there is anything else you would like me to specifically test.
When you say it's interpreted as Enter inside games, when you first connect is it still showing up as Enter or is it correctly doing mouse clicks in Big Picture, and only going weird when you enter a game?
Big Picture mode and the normal desktop both work correctly.

The issue only starts after entering a game.

Inside games, the left mouse click itself still works normally, but every click also triggers an additional Enter key input at the same time.
Hm. If it was always sending an enter from the client, then clicking on desktop would also send an enter. The fact that I can't reproduce this on any Android device I've tried, but for you it seems universal, makes me wonder if something's broken or misconfigured with Steam *Input* for you on the *host* side.

Let me think about the best way to diagnose this.
If I'm right about what's going on, there *might* be something useful in the controller.txt or controller_ui.txt -- if you can throw them somewhere, I think that's the next step in investigation. They'll be in your Steam logs directory, which is usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs on Windows (or wherever you installed Steam itself).
I found the log files you requested.

What would be the best way to send them to you?
Should I upload them to a cloud drive and share the link here?

That works, sure.
I messaged you on Steam, check it out.
