Native YouTube/Web browser

I know this has been asked a lot but is it possible? I don't wanna dedicate my pc to playing YT vids if the cpu is strong enough for something like that

It probably already can play Youtube videos if you install Kodi and the Youtube addon. It would be possible to create a Youtube app for the Steam Link, but that would be quite a bit of work, which is probably why it hasn't been done yet.

You could create a VM, Windows or Linux which you prefer, configure the network using a bridged adapter. So that Steam Link would discover the VM through broadcast, and the main screen could be spared for other uses.

I cant install YouTube and Twitch addon. Just pop up me an error, nothing more specific.
I downloaded them from the Kodi website.

Am I missing something?

You are not missing something. the kodi and twitch addons are broken because youtube and twich changed their APIs
