Does not matter what distro from the research I've been doing, the common denominator for this bug is running desktop Gnome 40+. Whenever you want to stream a game from another platform to linux running Gnome 40+, steam link will start in fullscreen but then will shrink down to windowed screen.

The temporary solution is hitting Alt + Enter (if configured in Gnome settings) twice in order to go back to windowed mode and then again to full screen.

Not sure if this is on anyone's radar. The issue I am seeing is the same one described in this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/gnome/comments/sngcc2/steam_remote_play_game_shrunk_to_window_in_gnome/

Anyone more knowledgeable can give me any pointers to see what I can check to diagnose this issue and find a more permanent solution?

I'm interested to know if this is a Steam Link issue, a Gnome issue, or a mix of both.
