I encountered a strange problem after the update on Steam Deck. Not sure if it's caused by the update, as i did not used steam link the way the problem becomes noticeable since it got updated back in December, but worth a shot, as this is the only thing changed.

Running Steam Link in desktop mode from Steam Deck (Official docking station, everything is up to date) to Windows11 with mouse and keyboard connected, Link does not seems to register anything involves "long press" from my mouse. For example when you hold down left mouse button to select multiple icons in windows or units in games, the mouse moves, but nothing gets selected (Neither the rectangle starts to form actually).

Things worth to mention:
When running Link from gaming mode, everything works perfectly with both mouse+keyboard or with the Deck's controls (Either touching the screen, holding down the trigger, or pressing the track pad, everything registers just fine)

In Desktop mode, the Deck's track pad/touch screen/Triggers still works perfectly, but even mixing inputs from Deck/Mouse, only the Deck's inputs work as intended.

Hovering through things also seems strange. Buttons, icons, etc have an effect when you move the cursor above them (without clicking) in games or in windows. The effect is missing when i try to do it with a mouse, like Windows does not even see, that the mouse is actually there until i click, but touching the track pad even just for a second makes the effect appear.

So overall it feels like Steam Link with a mouse only register mouse actions, when i click, but until that it does not care about where the cursor is, or long presses in any way.
Sadly using game mode does not really helps me, as i need a two screen setup, where Link runs on one monitor, and i can tab to the other screen, where a browser runs.

Any help or idea would be appreciated.

UPDATE to my problem:
Reverting to previous version (1.3.12.269) solves the issue, so it seems like the problem caused by this update indeed.
I guess it will be fixed in the next update, but for those few, who use Steam Link on the Deck like i do, i write down how to downgrade:

You need sudo "rights" to do this. If you already have them, you can skip this part.

1, Switch to desktop mode.
2, Select the Steam Deck icon on the toolbar.
3, Navigate to the search bar.
4, Search for 'Konsole'
5, Open the Konsole app and type 'passwd'
6, Type in your preferred password. (If i remember right, it will does not show what you type, but don't worry)

Open Konsole if it is not open already, paste this line, then press enter.

sudo flatpak update --commit=c81e2b03cf1e908f075f70047febfafa9176c253168aebecc56f79e4497ec344 com.valvesoftware.SteamLink

It will ask for your password. Like always, it will not show what you type, but if it's correct, when you press enter it will initiate the downgrade after you confirm, that you indeed want to do it. Also for those who afraid, it does not brake the the app's updates. As soon as you do this, even without restarting the deck, Discover shows, that there is an update for Steam Link (Which you obviously don't want to update for now, if this tiny problem bothers you)
