i got a Kiwi Design charging link cable recently and ive been unable to use the cable link for the steamlink beta with my quest 2

for some reason even when the cable is plugged into the right port in my pc and my headset the USB icon just stays gray and when i try to use Meta Link it just crashes my headset basically and it freezes after playing for a few minutes

If it's not even working with Meta Link, that suggests something is wrong with the cable.

As for the Steam Link beta, you do need to be on HorizonOS v2.5+ for things to work.

all of my stuff is up to date so its the cable

It is not the cable, since something like ALVR with ADB works perfectly fine even tho i have the same cable the SteamLink on Cable doesn't work.

It is not the cable, since something like ALVR with ADB works perfectly fine even tho i have the same cable the SteamLink on Cable doesn't work.

what is ALVR? and whats ADB
