The Meta quest store Allow offline app launch flag is not correctly set!
On any newer quest os versions the steam link app can not be launched without active internet connection. This makes it troublesome for people using a dedicated VR router that is not connected to internet. Pre v81 there was a workaround where it allowed you too launch the app in recently used apps bar.
But this has been patched out and trying to launch steamlink will result in wifi window appearing asking you to change wifi.

Right now you need too > connect to wifi with internet > launch steam link > connect back to LAN only vr router.

I would like to ask you to change the steam link store flag to allow offline launch.

I am also running a dedicated VR router and have to use this work-around.

Hello i found another workaround without switching wifi!

Make sure steamlink is in recently launch, Instead of clicking it "Grab and drop" it into one of 3 windows in front of you.

This works on v83 etc. Only way i know of on these newer versions. Its drag and drop of steam link specifically no other way of launching it.

When i say grab and drop. You hold trigger on steam link and drag the icon upwards towards in front of you.
