Steelseries stratus XL detected on phone but not on steamlink
Hello,

A few days ago I got my old SteelSeries Stratus XL controller fixed and working with my Samsung s23. It was detected on steam link wirelessly and worked fine. However, when I tried connecting it today, steam link did not recognize it. It works fine everywhere else on my phone. When I try to use steam link with it, wirelessly the app does not detect the controller at all. Oddly enough the face buttons still work with it. The app is able to detect the controller when wired but some inputs do not work at all or register incorrectly.

I have tried
Repairing the controller with my phone
Uninstalling and reinstalling steam link
Restarting my phone
Checking on SteelSeries engine
Disabling apps in the accessibility settings

Nothing has worked so far.

Could you send the streaming_log.txt from your host machine? Just to see if it's sending *any* HID devices/controllers at all.

I don't think there's been any update within the past few days that would have broken the Stratus, but I'll see if we have one here to test with. This is connected via Bluetooth, I assume?
...actually, I guess there were some changes to controller code in 1.3.31, now that I think of it. They shouldn't have affected the Stratus XL that I can think of, but... did you update to the 1.3.31 beta over the weekend?
Yes it is when its connected via bluetooh. I did not update to the beta over the weekend. After some further testing. I found out only the A and B button work. Steam still does not detect it and uses touch controls. Where do you suggest I post the stream log?
Anywhere is fine, as long as slouken or I can download it.

Okay, that seems to confirm it's not sending the HID device at all, meaning that the client isn't seeing the controller (as opposed to sending the controller but something not working on the host).

I'll see if I can't find a Stratus to look at.
