For those using Chromecast w/ Google TV, Android 14 and are getting crashes:
I was having issues after our Chromecast updated to Android 14, Going into Steam Link and connecting to my desktop would crash the entire Chromecast system.

So what seems to have fixed it was disabling HVEC Video under streaming customize settings fixed it.

Just though I should make this post so valve can fix!

Same. I barely connect to my PC, and the entire Google TV system crashes.

PS: It only happens on Chromecast Google TV, as I have tested it at a Walmart Onn. Google TV and it does work perfectly on that one.

Same here - disabling HEVC stops the crash, but reduces quality; I have AV1 turned on and there are still some artifacts displaying when I stream.
