If you're using them wirelessly on Android... I'm not really shocked. Unfortunately, Android will generally "steal" standard game controllers. It'll export a generic game controller to anything looking for them (and will hold onto the Guide button to use as the Android Home button), but extended features do not always get exposed in that scenario.
