Steam Link

Stream connection error
My phone is Pixel 10. App version 1.3.20
Sometimes connecting to Stream Link is a breeze and other times I get a Stream Connection Error, despite usually having a 5G connection while commuting
When I do, a band-aid solution is to go on the computer and restart Steam

Does this ONLY happen when you're commuting? (E.g. you don't get the same stream connection issues if you try connecting while at home, on the same network as the Steam PC?)

Also, could you get the streaming_log.txt from your PC (it should be "logs\streaming_log.txt" under your main Steam install) after one of these errors happens, and stick it on pastebin or something similar? If you're actually getting an outright error the log will probably have useful information in it, and folks here can help you go through it.

Last time I tried to connect to the computer after I experienced the connection error, I was successfully able to connect when the phone was in the same Wi-Fi, but not when I turned off the Wi-Fi. Restarting Steam fixed the streaming error

I tried entering Steam Link while being connected to my cellular carrier, it didn't popup a streaming connection error message but rather indefinitely showed a loading animation
in the "streaming_log.txt", it showed:

when I enabled Wi-Fi it did let me enter Steam Link, then it brought the Steam client to the front on the desktop, then even after I turned off Wi-Fi it continued working and let me stream Steam
When you say you enabled wifi, do you mean on the phone or on the host computer? I'm guessing the phone, but I figure I should check rather than blindly assuming...

Also, what are you streaming *from*? (A Windows PC, etc.)

My computer is plugged directly to the router, so the Wi-Fi is enabled on my phone
