Can't alt+tab anymore?

When using Steam Link app on my phone I'm no longer able to alt+tab. This used to work until maybe a month ago and now it doesn't.

I've tried reading the commands being sent, if alt is pressed tab simply doesn't send and vice versa. Other presses seem to work fine with those two, but it simply seems to refuse to send both of those specific commands at the same time and I can't figure out why.

I've tried removing the commands from the screen and re-adding them, I've tried completely uninstalling Steam Link and reinstalling it, the behavior doesn't change at all.

I really like being able to alt+tab, so if anyone could help me understand why it's no longer working I'd appreciate it.

Question: is this JUST with the virtual keyboard, or is it the case if you connect an actual physical keyboard as well?

Just the virtual buttons. I can't figure out a way to do it in the actual virtual keyboard but there are virtual buttons for both ALT and TAB in the layout that I previously used to do this. If I go over to my physical keyboard as the computer while the streaming is active it works fine from there.

Yeah, that's definitely not an intended behavior. Thank you for reporting it!

Unfortunately it was an issue in *Steam* rather than Steam *Link,* so it'll be a while before the fix trickles out into the real builds.
