aarch64 support soon?
not sure if ive done something wrong but i get "X11 is not supported on this version of Raspbian. You can run on console or downgrade to Raspberry Pi Buster."
Hello, I can't enter the beta following the command

echo beta >~/.local/share/SteamLink/.update_branch

I have checked the SteamLink folder but don't see that file inside. Only see these
bin (folder)
lib (folder)
Qt-5.14.1 (folder)
udev (folder)
LICENSE.txt
README.txt
steamlink.sh
steamlinkdeps.txt
ThirdPartyLegalNotices.css
ThirdPartyLegalNotices.html
version.txt

The version.txt contains "1.1.85.206"

Anyone can help? Thank you

I did, but the command says

.local/share/SteamLink/.update_branch: No such file or directory

I have checked the folder and don't see the file .update_branch as well

In terminal, type
cd /bin

then try the update tag. If that still does not work,
nano steamlink
look for
"public"
and replace with
"beta'

One other change I have tried is going into the boot config and changing dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d into dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d
nano /boot/config.txt
and toward the bottom it will have dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d. I added the f.

Some of this is me just following other troubleshooting since I am still pretty new to the linux kernel and bash. All that said though, I did get Steamlink to run once successfully and I am currently stuck on the error about X11.

Once/if I get success on Steamlink consistently running on my Pi 4 I will update on my troubleshooting that got it to fully work.

Edit: comment below has made it working consistently. Included below so everything can be found in a singular post.

If SteamLink is not set to autorun type
steamlink

8bitdo instructions: if you have an 8bitdo controller you want to pair it with the X button to have it work amazingly well with Steamlink.

I'm also getting this on my Pi 4 after switching to the beta branch. I don't know what 'run on console' means tbh.
Console, terminal, command line... same thing which is the black box. I am still learning Linux so I am a mere toddler flipping switches.
