Steam Link version 1.3.9 BETA
The next version of Steam Link for Raspberry Pi is now available as a beta build.

You can opt into the beta in the support settings in the Steam Link app.

Changes in build 1.3.9.258:
  • Fixed audio crackling introduced in the previous build

Changes in build 1.3.6.254:
  • Improved audio resilience to network conditions

Changes in build 1.3.4.252:
  • Fixed rare case of the connection hanging when starting to stream
  • Fixed virtual controller buttons in the controller overlay

Changes in build 1.3.0.242:
  • Improved reliability of Remote Play Anywhere

I'm confused what's new in this beta?
the patch notes listed for this beta are already in the "Steam Link Raspberry Pi Patch Notes" thread, implying they are already out of beta... did the wrong notes get copy pasted?

Any plans to have it stop using the old deprecated userland module libraries? Archlinuxarm decided to remove all the library files in /opt/vc/lib because of the notice on GitHub: https://github.com/raspberrypi/userland

The AUR package I maintain no longer works now because of this.

libvcsm.so => not found libmmal.so => not found libmmal_core.so => not found libmmal_util.so => not found libbcm_host.so => not found
