Pi 4 with Bullseye run on the console - error while loading shared libraries: libbcm_host.so
I've updated Steam Link to version 1.1.89.225, but when I run on the console, I get these message:
shell: error while loading shared libraries: libbcm_host.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory screenblank: error while loading shared libraries: libbcm_host.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm having this same issue as well.

Tried the following answer but it didn't seem to work:
https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/78719/missing-libbcm-host-so-when-running-chromium-browser/78740#78740

Looks like the
libbcm_host.so
library is no longer included in the
libraspberrypi0 libraspberrypi-dev libraspberrypi-doc libraspberrypi-bin
packages. Even after force reinstalling those the binary is not present in the
/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf
directory.
We get it on most every night
And when that ol' moon gets so big and bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody was installing Moonlight.
From what I've read, Steamlink software isn't natively compatible at the moment with bullseye. If you install an earlier version of raspbian, Buster, it works just fine. I'm not sure if you can get a 64 bit image from the Raspberry Pi Imager, but there's one located on their downloads page.

Does anyone know if a 64bit image (vs 32bit) would make a major performance difference for streaming? I'm running a 32bit one now.
