How to run Steam Link in console
This

I tried to start program from terminal with steamlink command but I am still getting error message that I should either downgrade or run on console.

in the terminal, run 'sudo raspi-config'
go to 'system options'
go to 'boot / auto login'
select console
restart your raspberry.

then you will boot into console, simply run 'steamlink' and it will work
