macOS audio support
Had the idea to hook up my AppleTV to one of my macs for some casual gaming on the couch, but got stuck in a rabbit hole where apparently audio drivers have been broken for years. If you host your steam link from a mac, you're out of luck, no audio for you!

I opened a support ticket, which they forwarded to the dev team. But one ticket isn't going to make this a priority. Everyone who would stumble upon this post, which you eventually will, just take the time to file a ticket in their support system for steam link here

I also opened one up about this with them yesterday. It worked a 3-4 months ago but has been broken for far too long. I know it's their drivers because I can have mirrored the Mac screen to the apple TV and both video/audio work great. Only issue is the controller has to then be connected to the mac and not AppleTV (which is too far away for me to play this efficiently).

Airplay does have some lag, no?

I managed to use Airplay for audio only while remote play but the audio had lag. I didn't feel any lag using Airplay though (except that controller kept cutting out because the computer was too far away for bluetooth)
