Steam Link version 1.4.2
The next version of Steam Link for iOS, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro is now available.

You can download it from the App Store on your device:

Changes:
  • Added an experimental video codec, Pyrowave, which allows high bandwidth, low latency video streaming
  • Improved color clarity and brightness
  • Added a network health check while streaming
  • Automatic display resolution does a better job of matching the actual display resolution, up to 1080p
  • Fixed the size of on-screen touch controls on the iPad

Hello, dear developers. I think, that I located a problem with network check. After updating on my IPad and iPhone I can’t fix the stable connection with the mobile internet. I know, that my internet speed isn’t very well, but at previous version a could play with ping. Now I have a big disclaimer: “Network problems”. At the background I can see my game, interface is changing, but this disclaimer doesn’t allow me to play. How can I solve this problem? I had do the video, but can’t attach it.

Pyrowave is greyed out in my Apple TV 4K second generation. Any fix for that?

Nope, it’s only supported in the 3rd generation Apple TV.

Hello! After this update I can no longer use a USB-C connected monitor to my iPhone anymore. When I use Steamlink to remote into my PC, then connect my iPhone to an external monitor, the virtual touch controls no longer show up on the iPhone. Previously, the iPhone can be used as a touchpad and the external display as the output. Please look into this. Thank you

Bonjour, Impossible d’afficher le curseur sur ma télé lorsque je caste l’image de mon iPad la manette ne fonctionne pas non plus. Alors que tout fonctionne correctement sur l’iPad seul et que si je fais la même chose avec l’iPhone, tout fonctionne y compris le streaming sur la télé.
Aidez moi please

Noticed an issue after the update, on iPhone it used to mirror the display but now it takes over and disables the phone display and due to limited iOS mouse support it requires iPhone users to use assistive touch makes but when the display is disabled it becomes non functional with external display.

This is fixed for the next update.
