Seems that AV1 decoding no longer works on my AppleTV with this update, though it worked fine before. If logs would be helpful, please let me know.
I'm still having issues using the Apple Pencil with Steam Link. I use Steam Link to draw on my iPad using desktop applications and I'm finding that I can only draw for so long before the Apple Pencil no longer responds. Not even just as a mouse for clicking icons or anything. This happens whenever I use the keyboard or mouse while streaming, or if the side of my palm happens to register as a right-click. The only way I've found to fix this is to restart Steam Link on my iPad every time which is very tedious and annoying. I've seen other users report that the Apple Pencil no longer hovers the same way it used to prior to the update that made Apple Pencils unusable. I'm hoping this can be fixed because I rely on Steam Link to be able to use a lot of my programs.
Switch N64 controller does not work fully. It detects it, and even lets me test it on steam, but only the joystick works. None of the other buttons do despite fully wiping steam config. Also tried linking to another pc and it still didn’t work. iOS and Apple TV apps have same issue.
Not sure what happened, but I was playing on my Apple TV with switch controllers for the past few months. Now they work on the Apple TV and on the steam link app, until I try to use them in game. I was testing by my computer in the other room (the switch controller with me.) And could not get the controllers to work in game at all. They’ve worked for months

What games are you testing them with?

Thanks! This is fixed for the next release.

AV1 decoding isn't supported on my Apple TV either, and this is a hardware limitation. It was a bug that it was showing as available before, but it wasn't actually being used.

Are you sure it's supported on yours? What model do you have?
I'm quite sure I saw the metal AV1 decoder in details on my AppleTV so maybe it defaulted to software decoding? Regardless it worked very well.
I am unable to use my Bluetooth-enabled Steam Controller with this release. It connects fine within TV OS (18.4.1) settings. It can also navigate the TV OS menus without issue. The Steam Link app, however, does not detect the Steam Controller. I've forced the streaming to start and only a few buttons seem to function, almost as if the Steam Controller is behaving as an AppleTV controller and not a game controller..?
I use an Apple TV with the Steam Link app to play from my PC to my television. Lately (I think after an update to the app on the Apple TV) the audio has gone crazy. It sounds like someone turning the volume to maximum, through blown out speakers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the app and Steam itself. I've tried various suggestions found online (prioritize Remote Play, 32 bit 48000 Studio, make sure no other audio devices are active at the same time on the PC) and nothing has helped. Steam Support also basically said they have no idea, due to the wide range of PC configurations that exist.

Anyone else encounter this? Were you able to fix it? Any suggestions for me?
Hello.
I tried to play Deltarune using Steam Link for iOS.
But when I started it, the controller didn't respond.
I started Steam Link from my iPhone 15, then started Deltarune (the controller worked fine up to this point), and after it started, a sound played, but none of the buttons on the controller worked.
The buttons on the virtual controller for touch controls that appears on the screen didn't respond either.
It responded when I touched the options (touch control ON/OFF, etc.) from the button in the upper left.
It also responded to tapping with four fingers (stopping a game or stream), etc.
Only the controller (both physical and virtual) didn't respond.
I have a USB controller plugged into my PC, but if the controller is plugged into my PC when I start Steam Link, it doesn't seem to respond.
When I unplugged the controller from my PC and started it, the iOS version responded.
I've updated both the Steam Link app itself and the OS to the latest version.
Other games work even if the controller is plugged into the PC, so I'm wondering why only Deltarune has this problem.
Does anyone know?
After Deltarune itself was updated, I started it up and it worked fine. This problem has been resolved.
Any chance we can get mouse support on Apple TV? tvOS supports connecting mice via BT, but apps have to be specifically coded for mouse support. Would love to be able to use my Razer Turret on my Apple TV with Steam Link.
