I use SteamLink on iOS very often and whenever i need to use my phone while playing (taking a call, starting music player, etc) i need to switch to another app. When i come back to steam link the app sees an incredibly large latency of course and most of the time i can‘t continue playing without having to reconnect. Also games tend to Crash when doing so because the virtual touch-controller gets disconnected and reconnected when doing so.

In order to solve this the app could either handle pause in a different way or the game could remain active in some PiP mode (like almost all video players do)

I really love that steam link exists and i use it nearly everyday. I‘m a software developer and if at all possible i‘d love to help maintaining the iOS app for my own selfish benefit 😉
