    Hello!

I already posted this question on Reddit. The comments boil down to the assumption that something might be wrong with my GTM and this plugin’s settings.

    What I’ve done:

I inserted the IDs in the corresponding integrations settings for Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager (standard implementation), and Google Ads.

    What I see:

After giving consent some clients block the requested Google Ads script. The URL is “https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=AW-1234512345“. (The Google Ads account ID is a placeholder, obviously.) The status in Dev Tools network tab is “(failed) net:ERR_BLOCKED_BY_ORB”. When I inspect the request headers the status is “404 Not Found”.

Do you have any ideas why this is happening on some clients?

All tested clients use Chrome in latest version (v150). No extensions installed.

    Hi @tapulator

    Thanks for using our plugins.

Did you check the Option 5: Consent Move v2 – Direct Integration [for advanced users only] in this tutorial?
    https://support.mooveagency.com/topic/ga-gtm-consent-settings/

    Hope this helps.

I’m aware of the tutorial but I didn’t expect to escalate directly to the most complicated integration. 😅

    Will try it out.

I watched the video and read the instructions. Hm, not sure how to apply this solution to my problem.

Is the idea to disable the integration of Google Ads inside the plugin and load the Ads script by the Custom HTML tag?

BTW: Does the video have no audio? Sounds like the comment track is missing.

The solution is to just connect Google Tag Manager, not all 3 Services (Tag Manager, Analytics, and Ads). Apparently Tag Manager loads all necessary scripts.

Now I’m running into another problem. Will start a new thread for it.
