STANIS BRIU'S NUDES. PART 1

Stanis_Briu, also known as Bronislav_ph, is a Ukrainian photographer specializing in portrait, glamour and artistic nude photography.

Throughout his career, he has worked with models, content creators and artists from different countries, developing a style that blends editorial photography, sensuality and an intimate, cinematic aesthetic.

Because photographing a naked woman is relatively easy. The difficult part is creating a photograph that has personality, conveys something and doesn't simply show a beautiful body.

And that's precisely one of the ideas that defines Stanis_Briu's work: beauty catches your attention, but it's the person in front of the camera who ultimately gives the photograph its identity.

We've got quite a lot of his material saved, so rather than throwing it all at you at once, we're going to split this little selection into two parts.

SIMON BOLZ 2026. PART TWO

We continue our journey through Simon Bolz’s recent work with a second selection of photographs published over the past few years.

While the previous installment brought his name back to these pages after a long absence, today we can focus directly on what best defines his work: an elegant, suggestive, and visually meticulous way of portraying the female body.

Bolz knows that a good nude photograph doesn’t depend solely on who’s posing in front of the lens. What is merely suggested also matters, along with the model’s attitude, the lighting, and that balance between naturalness and staging that makes every image appear spontaneous, even though nothing has been left to chance.

This second installment completes our selection of his work since 2023 and confirms that, despite the years that have passed since his last appearance on ALRNCN, Simon Bolz still has more than enough reasons to take his place on these pages once again.

Now you’re going to interrogate two images that claim to be exactly the same.

They both tell the same story, show the same scene, and stick to their version with remarkable confidence. But one of them is lying. Seven small inconsistencies are hidden throughout the photograph.

Your job is to uncover them. Take your time, compare every corner, and don’t trust anything, because the hardest differences tend to hide in the exact places you’ve already checked several times.

Find the seven pieces of evidence, tear apart the alibi, and discover which of the two images is trying to fool you.

SIMON BOLZ 2026. PART ONE

The last time we dedicated a post to Simon Bolz was back in 2022. Since then, the German photographer has continued working, releasing new shoots and expanding a body of work that, by now, has a perfectly recognizable style.

For his return to ALRNCN, we’ve selected some of the photographs he has published since 2023. Images in which he once again combines nudity, female beauty, and meticulous art direction, paying just as much attention to the model as he does to the lighting, framing, and setting around her.

Because in Bolz’s work, nudity never appears in isolation. Every location, every shadow, and every element of the composition helps create an atmosphere that turns each photograph into something more than just an attractive body in front of a camera.

THE EROTIC ART OF EUGENIO SICOMORO

Eugenio Sicomoro is the artistic name of Bruno Brunetti, an Italian artist and illustrator born in Rome in 1952 who has spent practically his entire life with a pencil in his hand.

Throughout his career, he has worked in the world of comics and illustration for some of Europe's leading publishers, contributing to numerous publications and developing a particularly recognizable style when it comes to depicting the human figure.

But of all his work, there's one particular side that, for strictly cultural and completely selfless reasons, has brought us here: his erotic drawings.

Portraits and female nudes created mainly in pencil and charcoal, where Sicomoro plays with shadows, curves, and proportions to create sensual, voluptuous, and surprisingly realistic women.

In some of his works, the level of detail makes you think for a moment that you're looking at a black-and-white photograph, until you get closer and begin to notice the pencil strokes, the shading, and the texture of the paper.

Almost half a century of drawing, and he still finds plenty of good reasons to keep sharpening his pencil.

THE EROTICISM OF GALYA

Galya is a Russian-born photographer focused on the nude female body. She's focused and I'm obsessed. We already have something in common.

Her work revolves around the female nude, with elegant, carefully composed photographs where the models aren't exactly trying too hard to hide from the camera.

There's not much playing around with showing without actually showing here. There's skin, there's nudity, and there's plenty to look at, but always through photography that tries to maintain that balance between eroticism, beauty, and naturalness.

A selection of Galya's work to remind us that you can show practically everything without losing your sense of style.

THE EROTICISM OF LEXUSAG

Oleksii Mitskevych, better known as LexusAG, is a Ukrainian photographer who has developed his own style based on simplicity and natural beauty, with a carefully considered approach to portraying the female form.

His images avoid excessive retouching and aggressive editing that might steal attention away from the model. Everything is handled with elegance and balance, from the lighting and framing to the use of color and the small details that give each photograph its own personality.

Oleksii's work stands out precisely because of this combination of technical skill and artistic sensitivity. His photographs feel intimate and spontaneous, but behind that apparent simplicity lies a very deliberate eye that knows exactly what to reveal and what to leave to the imagination.

Finding the first few differences is usually pretty easy. One is immediately obvious because something has disappeared, another changes size and a third practically begs you to point it out. The real problem begins when you’ve already found six and that final difference decides to hide as if it owed you money.

That’s when you start checking the same areas over and over again, zooming in, zooming out, questioning everything you’ve already found and eventually convincing yourself that the seventh difference doesn’t exist and someone is messing with you.

The photograph featured in this new installment was taken by Yan McLine, while I was responsible for introducing the customary seven changes.

So open your eyes, compare both images and try to find them all. The first six are a game; the last one is personal.

WHITEPLACE_1. PART THREE

After spending two installments exploring the universe of Whiteplace_1 (白寺), we bring this series to a close with one final selection of photographs by the elusive Chinese artist.

His work demonstrates that eroticism doesn’t always need an explanation. Sometimes it is far more effective to suggest a story, conceal part of the model’s identity and allow a pose, a rope or a glance to construct everything else.

Whiteplace_1 uses fetishism as an artistic language rather than merely as a sexual attraction. His images are conceived as compositions in which the human body coexists with fantasy, performance and a certain sense of mystery.

Perhaps that is why we know so little about him. While other photographers turn their own identity into a fundamental part of their work, Whiteplace_1 disappears behind the camera and allows everything to unfold in front of it.

The third and final installment dedicated to a photographer who, without revealing much about himself, has managed to create an instantly recognizable visual universe.

WHITEPLACE_1. PART 2

Yesterday we began exploring the work of Whiteplace_1 (白寺), a mysterious independent Chinese photographer who uses the body, fetishism and BDSM aesthetics as tools to construct his distinctive visual fantasies.

In his photographs, the model rarely appears as someone simply posing naked in front of the camera. Every gesture, pose and accessory seems to form part of a carefully staged performance. The body becomes character, setting and language all at once.

The tension of the ropes, the anonymity of a mask and the apparent discomfort of certain positions aren’t there merely to provoke. They also create contrast, introduce an element of mystery and encourage the viewer to imagine what might be happening both inside and beyond the frame.

It is precisely this interplay between beauty, vulnerability and domination that gives his work its identity. His photography can feel sensual, unsettling or hypnotic, depending on how long you decide to keep looking.
