Support Groups
Want to learn more about the Museum’s collections? Consider joining a Curatorial Support Group! In addition to general Museum membership benefits, benefits of Support Group membership include:
- Behind-the-scenes educational programs at the Museum, local homes, and businesses
- Opportunities to meet with curators, artists, and other BMA staff members
- Invitations and passes to special events including exhibition openings and local private collection visits
- Opportunities to travel domestically and internationally, with special access to private collections, artist studios, and exclusive curator-led tours of museums and galleries
- An annual celebration of recent Museum projects and initiatives.
Participation in BMA Support Groups provides crucial support for the Museum’s collections, funding curatorial research, collection care, acquisitions, and conservation and reframing efforts.
The Museum offers six unique groups:

- Collectors Circle for Contemporary Art
- Emerging Collectors
- European Art Society
- Friends of American Art
- Indian Cultural Society
General Museum membership is a prerequisite for support group membership.
