Live streaming and TV options for 2026 season
Zee Entertainment Enterprises, ZEE5’s parent company, completed this rights deal in June 2026, in time for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico—the first tournament in history to feature 48 teams.
Under this deal, viewers in India can stream live 2030 FIFA World Cup games on ZEE5, along with additional content such as match replays, highlights, documentaries, and more in 1080p Full HD. Zee has also launched the Unite8 Sports 1, Unite8 Sports 1 HD, Unite8 Sports 2, and Unite8 Sports 2 HD live channels for linear television coverage of FIFA-related tournaments.
ZEE5 subscribers may require an additional FIFA World Cup-specific subscription to stream the World Cup. Please check the broadcaster’s official website for the latest information.
Once subscribed, viewers in India can stream the 2030 FIFA World Cup on the ZEE5 app or official website. The streaming service is accessible on smartphones and supported TV devices, such as smart TVs, Fire TV, and Chromecast. Meanwhile, subscribers can stream the World Cup on the ZEE5 website on a PC or Mac via a supported browser, though live games may be streamed in lower quality.
Key note: ZEE5 has enjoyed accessibility via partner bundle subscriptions with Airtel, Jio Fibre, Vi, Tata Play Binge, Amazon Prime Channels, and more. However, the 2030 World Cup coverage MAY NOT be available through such bundled subscriptions.
Zee Media Corporation airs World Cup matches on Unite8 Sports 1, Unite8 Sports 1 HD, Unite8 Sports 2, Unite8 Sports 2 HD or ZEE5.
This deal spans 2026 to 2034, covering three editions of the men’s World Cup (2026, 2030, and 2034), as well as over 30 other FIFA-related men’s, women’s, and youth tournaments, such as the Women’s World Cup, U-20 World Cup, and more.
Zee is set to stream the 2034 FIFA World Cup in India on its ZEE5 streaming service, though viewers must subscribe to the platform for access. Additionally, Zee has launched a host of channels (Unite8 Sports 1, Unite8 Sports 1 HD, Unite8 Sports 2, and Unite8 Sports 2 HD) to offer linear television coverage.
ZEE5 broadcasts in 1080p Full HD and is available in multiple languages, namely Hindi and English. It should be noted that 2034 World Cup coverage may be paywalled behind an add-on, meaning regular ZEE5 viewers might be required to purchase an additional subscription.
ZEE5 subscribers can stream the 2034 FIFA World Cup on the ZEE5 app or via its official website on a PC or Mac. The ZEE5 app is available on Android and iOS devices, as well as supported TVs such as smart TVs, Fire TV, Chromecast, Apple TV, and more.
