Happy New Year 2006

We had a great New Years celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Ross' house. We had a delicious dinner and then Brady gave us a fireworks show. We expected that Carter might be scared, but he loved the fireworks. He was so excited he was bouncing around, smiling and gigling. It was entertaining to watch him experience his first fireworks. Hope he is still this excited in July for the big show.

Carter's 1st Christmas

Carter's first Christmas was a good one. We spent it at home with the Richmond family. He got lots of gifts he was excited about. He liked holding the wrapping paper and bows and was really excited about the books he received and his toys. He was much more excited about Christmas than we expected...it made it a lot of fun for Mom and Dad.

Early Christmas Celebration

We spent a week with Grandma Vesta in Ohio and had an early Christmas Celebration. Carter got to meet a lot of new family and friends...little ones like him and Daddy's friends he grew up with too. We had a great time and Carter was a little angel.

Dickhaus Family Visit

The week before Christmas we took a trip to the Ohio/Kentucky area to visit family and friends. Carter got to meet lots of relatives on his Dickhaus family. They showered him with love and gifts and he never hit the ground. Here are a few pictures with his Great Grandparents and cousins.

Tree Hunting

Following our new tradition we went to the tree farm and cut down our family Christmas tree. Along with our friends and Aunt Jackie we looked high and low for the perfect trees in the snow. You can see Carter napped through most of the tree hunting, but he woke up long enough to capture some great photos with the little bear and his friend Lucas.

Big Guy - Little Guy

December was a great month. Brady was home all month and had extra time off...he spent it all with Carter. Carter loved hanging out with Dad. Great Grandma Richmond gave them these "Big Guy" and "Little Guy" matching shirts for Christmas...thankfully only Carter's has snaps on the bottom. :)
