Santa pictures

Logan is really into Santa and every time we've seen him he waves at him non-stop, so I thought that combined with his big brother being with him would mean a great Santa pictures. Oh, was I wrong. Logan did just what his big brother did and cried as soon as he was on Santa's lap. Carter did great though and talked to Santa for a long time and asked him to bring his little brother a snuggly. I thought that was pretty sweet.

We saw another Santa at Beaver Bark - Logan loves Santa as long as he is about 3 feet away or so. Look at him waving at Santa.

Yeah...Christmas is here

We had a fun day ice skating, seeing Santa and checking out the reindeer at Beaver Bark. It is so much fun to enjoy the Christmas season with the kids.

My little animal

Carter loves nature and animals. He is really into howling like a wolf and when he was on the tree swing he started making "eagle" noises.

Thanksgiving

We had a great time in Montana spending time with family over the holiday. Carter loved hanging out with his second cousin Kaden. He kept asking me if he was his cousin and he told me he wishes everyone could be his cousin. He is ready to go back already.

Thankful

Carter had his Thanksgiving chapel at school. Each kid says what they are thankful for and then they put their feather in the turkey. Carter said he was thankful for his baby brother....sooo sweet. When we heard that Brady and I both got teary.

Happy 90th GeeGee

We celebrated my Grandma's 90th birthday the weekend before Thanksgiving. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Anthony's and then back to Grandma's house for presents and cake. Doesn't she look beautiful at 90! We are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Playing in the leaves

We don't have enough leaves in our yard to make a good pile so we headed over to Great Grandpa and Gee Gee's house to enjoy their leaves. The kids had a great time raking up and then jumping in their piles. There is just something about leaves for kids - it's not fall unless you get to play in them. My Grandpa told us he enjoyed watching all the boys play in the leaves, which includes Brady. :)

Not ready for this

Today Carter's teachers were telling me about the kids who he is friends with and one that he really likes is a girl named Maddison, we know this because he talks about her all the time. Getting ready for nap I asked him about his friends and here is what he had to say.

Carter: "Maddison and I like each other so much that we are going to get married when we get bigger."

Mom: "Who's idea was that?"

Carter: " Maddisons', she said we could get married someday."

Mom: "And what do you think about that?"

Carter: "I don't know what city she lives in so I don't know if I want to marry her because I don't know what city she lives in."

Mom: "Well you have lots of time to decide because you can't get married until you are a lot older."

Carter: "Like how old?"

Mom: "Like 20"

Carter: "How old is 20?"

Mom: "Like as old as Aunt Carly."

Carter: "Whoooaaaa."

The mind of a four year old - so entertaining. :)

Trick or Treat

Another great Halloween - we started off with dinner, went trick-or-treating to our neighbors and then met up with our friends to hit more houses and end up with dessert.

This year Carter wanted to make a cowboy and cat pumpkin that he found in a picture book he has. I thought that was pretty creative.

Carter begged me to dress up as Princess Leia since he is Skywalker as he says. I had the costume in the attic so I couldn't resist. He was thrilled I dressed up with him but he said this picture is embarrassing. What!?! He is already too old for Mommy kisses....so sad.

Logan was the cutest little lion.

Logan wasn't sure about this trick-or-treating thing at first, but after his big brother showed him the ropes he was the first one to the door.

Disney on ice

The night before Halloween we went to Disney on Ice. It was so awesome - the kids loved it as well as the big kids. Everything with Disney is so magical both kids were mesmerized. If you ever get a chance to go I highly recommend it. I have put on a little video from each show, I know it is a lot but the kids love to watch them.
