Where are the drug dealers when you need them?

Noooo!

is what Tate is yelling in this picture as he trys to block me from taking down the christmas ornaments and I dont blame him. Trust me little man I want this less then you do, but its got to be done ( this is what I told him). He takes after his moma in his dislike of christmas ending. I know some people cant wait for it to be over, but not me... cuz thats when the pain begins. I always go into a post christmas, too much $%# snow, depression. Its a good thing my birthday is in January because its the only thing that pulls me out of it. usually. However as I get older its starting to compound it. Im a little worried this year thats its gonna be the perfect storm; Ive been stuck without a car, tyler is off track, and the first trimester is never a good time. Obviously Drugs are off limit this year but Ive never needed them more!

Post christmas post

I Love christmas for all the reasons pictured below, which can be summed up in three words.
Family, friends and fun. oops i guess thats four words.

sorry you cant really see any of the pictures. trust me they are all super cute!Posted by Picasa

tis the season

Let the madness begin!

My favorite time of the year,
its finally here!
with lots of smiles and good cheer,
we celebrate all that we hold dear,
as we gather our loved ones near.

K so Im not so good at poems even though I won the reflections contest in Kindergarten with a lovely one about snow. I AM good at celebrating christmas! Our family starts off first with the exchange of ornaments on the day that we decorate the tree. Me and clay each give each other one and get one for the kids. This year I gave this one below of Darthvader to Ty.

After SOoo many years together almost all our onaments are the ones we've given to each other over the years. We love to take them out of the box and tell the story behind each one.

TaDAA! notice the annoying ring of darkness around the middle...just like life there always some darker patches but its still pretty dang fantastic! (yes I thought that up myself)

Let the madness begin!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving
in Hurricane
Hurricane Utah is where both of my parents hail from so we went down for a hometown thanksgiving. It is one of my most favorite places. The sky is always blue (my mom blames any depression she might suffer on the lack of blue sky in SLC because "shell just never get used to it")And the weather this year was a wonderful 72 degrees. It made for a perfect thanksgiving.

We can never have enough pies

me and clay stuffing our faces. I did good this year, I only went back for thirds three times.

Someone very crafty made all these candy turkey and put them on all the plates. Definatly tates favorite part of the meal.
