Fun to be close to our neighbor's horses!

My girls are at a loving to hold little girls stage.

  

We went to the crowded free for kids family night to see UofL Hockey team play!   Fun! 

  

And got to see some of Louisville's indoor soccer team during a break. 

  

Ak and her friend put on a crazy dinner!

 

They were cute and animated waitresses.

 

Blue and Gold Banquet - each den had to decorate a cake.

 

One of my Bears eats very clean/organic . . . his mom made him cupcakes since he couldn't eat the den's cake.   She shared her sweet potato and bananas one with me!  :)  Yea!

 

We were in charge of the ceiling and photo booth decorations for our stake adult Valentine's dance.

We got to help celebrate a birthday!!!   Ak was trilled to help make and decorate the cake!

 

Ak got to go to the school's Daddy Daughter Masquerade Dance - she was so excited!

  

She looked and felt awesome!  Down to her shoes/glass slippers!

D was a good sport and had his nails done at her request.

 

She was given the awesome mask for her birthday from a friend.  She was excited to use it for such an appropriate event!  But when the opportunity to get her face painted at the dance - she couldn't resist!  :)  Plus it was cooler she said not to have it on.  :)

  

She had a great time with her dad!   She said other girls were running around and dancing with each other - but didn't know why since it was a DADDY and DAUGHTER dance!   :)   :)  :)

B played in a 6th grade tournament.   her team won 2nd

January Review

He lost a tooth at school and he got a tooth necklace to bring it home in.   A lunch lady told him he's the oldest kid she's seen wearing one!   He loved that!   He has confidence!   Goes with his shirt which says "I'm not saying I'm Spider Man, I'm sayin' You've never seen me and spider man together in the same place"  :)

  Ak's self portrait was chosen to be displayed at the art show at our local book store!  She loves ice cream!

 January 20, Wednesday, snow day . . . not a ton, but some to play in

 

 

 Ak loves her new mug from Aunt Genevieve!

 

 Lingering snow in our county - so snow day Thursday, January 21 - we went to Perfect North Ski Slopes! 

 Can you see Ak gripping on to the side of the lift for dear life (every time!) and then there's Z relaxing!  :)

 

 It wasn't crowded and it was awesome!!! 

 Last hour we went tubing since it was included in our passes!

 

 Wonderful day.  Wonderful memories!

 January 22 - it snowed ALL day - we didn't go outside.   I guess we were tired from the day before!  

Ak wanted to do a magic show . . . then she kept planning.  It ended up that she called it "Family's Got Talent" - . . . . she had the most acts but had everyone do something.  

 

D played chopsticks and I joined him.    (not to point out bad things - but do you see my thin spot of hair on my head?  :(    Just documenting.)

 

The next day I went to the store and I didn't lace up my boots all the way and the buckles caught each other and I caught myself in the store . . . then it happened again outside the store and I fell down.  :(

 Kids had fun playing in a bunch of snow this time!  Saturday January 23

  

 

  

 

 Z ran for Beta Club Vice President.  He picked a slogan, made a couple of posters, made a speech . . .He didn't win but good experience.   Here he is at the induction ceremony.

 

 

 Cub Scouts.    And then at D.A.R.E. graduation . . . he found out while standing in that line that he won as one of the essay contest winners?!?!?!   AWESOME!

 

My WBC dropped to 1.8 this month, thus the mask.
