Our Tiny Dancer

Emma had her first dance recital yesterday and did awesome. Thankfully she doesn't take it too seriously and although she gets distracted in class she loves preforming on stage. Garlan's parents, Chloe and Spencer all came to watch and support her. Spencer, being her perfect best friend, brought her flowers. I love our family and how supportive they are with each other. Afterwards we met Richard's family, Matt and some cousins at a park and ate dinner. Emma was on cloud 9 with all the attention she received.

 

Random Fun!

Here are some fun things we have done over the past couple of weeks! 

My mom and Sharia ended up staying an extra week because my mom had a huge kidney stone that she passed. She had taken my older two up to Michelle's for the weekend and Friday morning (two days before she was supposed to leave) she called me crying and in a ton of pain. Richard went and got her while Sharia watched the girls and brought her down to my ER. A CT confirmed a 9 mm kidney stone. I have never seen her in so much pain! Over the next 5 days she stayed with us and ended up passing the stone. My Dad flew down and was also with us. It was sad for her to be so sick but we enjoyed getting to have them with us longer. 

Garlan and Emma put together a big girl bed for Sophie since she started climbing out of her crib. She loves it and for days she would say "tank you dada" or "dada tank you" when you would lay her down in her new bed.

We went to Aunt Chloe's track meet last weekend at BYU to cheer her on!

Spent an evening up in Lehi at the BYU Fanfest!
