Happy Halloween!

So Ammon wanted to be Mack for Halloween. I must have spent hours looking at this semi truck in hope of finding some inspiration, and still have mack as my puters screen saver!

So what does a gal with no sewing talent do?

Oh the things you can create with...

and super glue

Thats a pretty sweet SEMI if i do say so myself... Even if  everyone thought he was Lightning McQueen!

April Fools

So as tradition I played my jello juice trick on Ammon for April Fools, I think I may have to come up with something new for next year... no worries I been thinking!

I think applebees is gross

But this kid likes it!

And requested a evening dinning out with these two cute kiddos!

Applebees here we come!

Ammon and I went up to Bellingham for a dinner date with the Fuller Fam, the kids played and we had a applebees dinner.

Birch Bay Bound

All because Nana & Bapa got sick I got to enjoy a last minute weekend getaway with these kiddo's and my friend Bridget in Birch Bay. Let me start by saying the weather was surprisingly nice, we all enjoyed a early morning hike down to the water an the boys and I went swimming. Bridget made some really good meals, one being a hobo stew, which is a mix of whatever you got...  Ammon even ate some veggies! The tide was out so we tried to go to the beach on a shell hunt but Jett cried the whole time.

Beauty & the Beast was being performed at the Ferndal High School... it was interesting! There was a lot of different songs in the play then I remember from the Disney movie and I believe the kids really enjoyed it which is great cause they were free.

I have always loved going to Birch Bay and have memories of a warm campfire and KFC dinner with Oreo's on the beach, can't wait to visit again.

Oh Bellingham... Sweet Bellingham...

I feel a moment of complaining coming on.... You wanna Really know why I wont ever move back to Bellingham???? EFFORT not the effort I would use in finding the time and place to move, but the lack of effort you all have to visit... let alone ever give us a call. I like it here because it takes effort and a lil planing, you actually have to think of us, and make a little time for us and plan a visit. We are just some effort an a hour away!  

Them Globetrotters...

The Harlem Globetrotters came to town, after doing a little research (calling my sister Autumn) I decided that I would take Ammon, and it was alot of fun!

Because I was debating taking Ammon at first I did not pre order tickets, so we got to the arena early and as I went to get in line a gentleman and his family gave me their extra tickets. I could not believe this kind act and it touched me deeply, I was instantly reminded of the love that my Father in Heaven has for us, I was looking forward to doing something special with Ammon and the Globetrotter tickets are not cheap.  I love knowing that Heavenly Father sent me down to earth with brother and sisters whom I may not remember but I know love and care for me, I am extremely grateful for the little reminders that I am not alone, Heavenly Father sends me and his perfect plan of salvation.

My claim to fame!

I am not so much a fan of snow, I don't like or dislike it more or less than the other. However I am a Big fan of getting my moneys worth! Last month in the store there was 1 kid size snow shovel and Ammon had to have it so I agreed to get it for him, but he wanted me to have one too.  Ammon carried the little red and black snow shovel around the store and picked out a opposite black and red shovel for me which i pushed around the store in my cart with plans of ditching it at the check out. I would rather have a handsome man shovel my walk... But who better to teach Ammon the importance of hard work and service then me, so in the end I gave in and bought both snow shovels.

This is where I am going to insert the winter snow warning

1-6 inches of snow!

This morning when Ammon got up he could not have been any more excited about the 25cm of snow. He wanted to shovel it! After clearing our walk he convinced me to let him take his snow shovel to preschool

so he could shovel the walk way there too...

Ok let's talk Christmas...

 Yesterday I finally had some time to make a thank you card with some pictures of Ammon on Christmas morning. The Lake Stevens Family Center did a couple wonderful things for my family this year. Ammon and I had a family portrait done by a photographer who volunteered and donated his service's to single parent homes, and the Lake Stevens Fire Department adopted Ammon and made his monster truck wishes come true... I got him a vacuum!

Scripture power

Today was Ammon's Primary debut, He was asked to share this months scripture Moses 1:39. All week we practiced and to my surprise he had it nailed the 3rd time we read it...

Ammon: "Mom, Lets do breaths in each others mouth"

Me: "WHAT?!?"

Ammon:  "lets have face time!"

Me: "Where did you get that idea?"

Ammon: "Auntie Becca"

Me:  "Does she do that?"

Ammon: "Uncle Jason & Auntie Becca play face time"

Me: "Ummm...  Lets call Auntie Bek..."

Bek: "Ha Ha .... Sorry for teaching your kid to make out!"

I forgot how much these boys love each other!

 last night we went to see BYU living legends and all Ammon saw was his buddy Jett up in the front row. Naturally I decided  it was time for a sleepover and took Jett home with us.

These boys really were up past midnight playing cars, reading books & jumping on the bed, and when the sun popped up they were at it again!
