Branson finished his last radiation treatment today!! We met with the doctor today & he let us know what to expect in the months to come & how his roughly 6 weeks of treatment went. We weren't 100% sure if they were going to extend his treatments or If it had helped like they had hope. It was a little nerve racking but we knew before Branson started any of this process God has his hand in it & wasn't going to leave us no matter what! The peace we both had during this entire process was overwhelming. We are so thankful for that! Branson finished up his last treatment today while Breck & I waited in the waiting room. It seemed to DRAG on, but it was actually less than 30 minutes. Lol! They called us back & we spoke with the doctor, he gave him the news that he was finished with radiation & he was confident that he was cancer free! PRAISE THE LORD!! This could have been so much worse & we will forever be grateful to our sweet Jesus! 

 

Breck got to hit the gong with his daddy & they all sent Branson on his way with happy, well wishes! 

26 and counting!

I am currently 26 weeks & 3 days pregnant! 

I feel about the same as I did 3 weeks ago on my last pregnancy update at 23 weeks. I feel like this pregnancy is flying by and every week just keeps speeding faster & faster! I had my 25th week check up last week and everything is still going great & rolling right along. He scheduled me to come back in 3 weeks for glucose testing & then my bi-weekly appointments start! That seriously doesn't even sound right to me!!??! I can't believe I'm about to start my 3rd trimester of my LAST pregnancy, EVER!! I'm savoring each moment & know it'll be over soon. But, I'm ready to be back to normal and have my body back! Whew! 

Also, we have a name for baby B #4! For some reason this was the easiest name to decide and agree on! Once we both heard it, talked about it, said it (over & over) it was confirmed.....

 

Will be joining the rest of the 'Br' team in a few short months!!! Yay!! 

We of course had to keep the Br trend going! No way would we leave him out of that confusion! ;) 

 

Trials.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12 

Braycen woke me up at about 3am this morning with major body aches and a really high fever. Like all good mommas it absolutely kills me when my babies are sick.. I seriously want to take it all away! Branson was working nights and the other 2 boys were sleeping soundly. I gave him some meds, something to drink and got him fixed back up to go back to sleep. He told me his body was hurting so bad and he didn't want to move & wanted to know why he felt like that & why it was him having to be go through that. I told him that his body was trying to fight off something that isn't meant to be there so it's working extra hard and taking all of his strength.. (I mean that's the best way I could think to explain that to a 7 year old at 7am). A little while later I started thinking about the course of events that have taken place in our lives the past few months. Changes, deaths, and branson finding out he had a cancerous mass that  would need to be removed & treatments would be needed. 

I'm not going to lie, these past couple months had been extremely trying to me!  Confusing and sometimes left me questioning, why us?  Well... Why not us? We are Gods children, that's why. The Bible doesn't say that once we become his children our lives are going to be this awesome fairytale & nothing bad is ever going to happen! The devil is going to do anything he possibly can to break our grip away from our God. He is going to come in where he's not wanted & try to stir things and make everything confusing and not the way God intended them to be. 

Thankfully, our God works in overtime for us and fights to make sure the devil doesn't win or overcome our biggest trials! I cant help but rejoice in knowing that no matter what we go through big or small, we are overcomers in Christ! He fights our toughest battles and is there with us in the most trying times. Staying in constant prayer and remaining patient through these time can be the most comforting and soothing things through trials! I am so thankful that no matter what we face, we have a living God who is there to fight our battles and wrap his arms around us and love and comfort us! 

Then there was SIX!

We are about to be a family of SIX! 

I am currently 23 weeks & 4 days pregnant!
Although, Ive never been frequent with blogging I love being able to still look back and read posts about my past pregnancies! So here we go...

• This sweet baby is due on April 21st.. In this household due dates never mean anything to us. Ha! Seriously, they come when they when they want & they come early! 
• We are having our 4th BOY! Yes, I wanted and hoped for a girl. But we are thrilled none the less.... Let me just say, having a house full of boys is not for the weak! ;) 
• My 1st trimester was rough.. I was extremely sleepy everyday/all day & had horrible nausea that seemed to never subside. 
• Now that we are nearing the end of our 2nd trimester. I am starting to feel BIG and short of breath a lot.. Im constantly having to sit down and remind myself to take it easy. Which is not easy when you are a mom of 3 boys ranging in ages 7-2. Not gonna lie, our life is a 3 ring circus and we live a crazy not so calm life! 
• My cravings have not been really crazy! Id say mainly just things I had pretty much given up during my weight loss journey over the past 2 years. Which was really hard for me at first, because I do struggle with my weight I was (& still am) a tad terrified of gaining a ton of weight back and having to start from square one again after baby 4 is here! Im pretty much over that for now though. ;) 
• I love sweets right now.. clausen pickles, chicken strips, cheese sticks, potatoes, salad, fuji, and bacon.. are you surprised? 
• I broke down and bought ONE pair of maternity jeans this past weekend. *cringe* I really hate paying for something I know Im never going to wear again after pregnancy. I refuse to buy anything else maternity, ever again. 
• I am feeling amazing right now! My skin has been a little yuck and my hair for some reason is driving me crazy with all the extra growth and not wanting to do anything. But seriously. my pregnancy has mostly been a BREEZE!-for that im thankful! 
• We do have a name picked out and it does start with a B. -DUH!

Happy 4th Birthday!!

Brylen Thomas is 4!!

 

Brylen turned 4 on December 27th! He was so excited for his Birthday to come this year & asked us everyday for months! The last 3 years have been a little crazy around his Birthday, so this year we tried to make it extra special! Brylen is our "little man".. Seriously, we think he's a twenty year old man trapped in his 4 year old little body! ha! You may laugh, but if you know him you know how true this is. He really isn't much into toys unless its a tractor, barn or something along those lines. He would rather play make believe & 9 times out of 10 he's playing like he is going to work, baseball games or building barns & fences! Its hilarious, he'll grab his pretend keys to "leave" & comes over to me for a hug & a kiss & he's off to work (im hoping he'll keep that work ethic all through life) HA! He's a wanna be cowboy through & through & you wont see our boy without boots & jeans on! (not sure what hes gonna do come summertime!)

 He takes everything very seriously & is very cautious. Brylen marches to the beat of his own drum & really doesn't care if anyone else is interested or not.. He can be really ornery, but at the same time he has the biggest & most loving heart!! We love our Brylee & our thankful for him daily!!

Happy 1st Birthday!!

Brecken Trey is 1!!

(better late than never, right?)

 Our sweet baby turned one on Christmas Eve! We have a pretty eventful Christmas around here nowa days since we not only have his birthday, but big bro Bryen has a Birthday 3 days later!

I really cant believe how fast 2013 went by! It honestly felt like Breck wasn't our tiny baby for long at all! Makes this momma extremely sad! We celebrated with a small close family party for just him & then a double birthday with Brylen for extended family & friends. Celebrating a life is such a special time & we are extremely blessed to have such healthy, happy boys! We could not imagine life without our "Brecky"... He is such a good baby! Of course, with two older brothers he is already extremely rough & tough! He can be a bit of a drama king when It comes to not getting what he wants & sometimes likes to fall back (hard floor or not) or just throw himself on the ground. I mean when you have two older brothers wanting to take everything away, ya gotta do something right? ha! But, really! Breck is a "lovey" little snuggle bug & loves to be held and cuddled & sung too! He started walking around 10 1/2 months and never looked back! IN. TO. EV.RY.THING!! He weighed in at a whopping 20lbs at his 1 year appointment & though he is smaller for his age, he's right on track for being 5lbs7oz at birth! :)

Ice Storm 2013

I LOVE a good snow day or maybe two... But, here we are going on to almost 5 days of snow & nasty ICE...this mama of 3 little ones is going a wee bit stir crazy! Weve slept in, played games, colored, had a couple dance parties, played in the snow, baked some sweet treats, stayed in our jammies-ALL DAY, ate a whole lot of junk & just been lazy.. We were without power for 1 day, thank the Lord isn't wasn't as long as others. Im a pretty big tit bag & B worked the night ours was out, so I ended up packing up & staying with friends with a fire place & generator! SO thankful for friends that invite us into their home with open arms!! Today we went & played for a little bit & did some sledding! FUN STUFF!! We are out of school tomorrow & Ive already decided we are going into town & doing something fun! I need sometime outside of a house!
