We love summer!

The weather this week has been so nice! Especially, once the sun starts to go down. This evening after dinner we loaded up the boys in the stroller and took a walk to the park! We have a small neighborhood park that is within walking distance from our house which is great, because I have a certain little boy that would live at the park if we would let him & I get some exercise! :)

6 Months!

This sweet boy is now 6 months old!

I cannot believe it either! It seems like just yesterday you were arriving over a month early, spent your first 2 weeks in NICU, and couldn't even breath on your own- Bless your heart!

But, you definitely can't tell that today! You are growing SO fast! You are a little chunky thing, and NEVER miss a meal, you always make sure we know when its time to eat! :)

So what has Brylen been up too?

• Trying to set up on your own, you can set just for a minute!


• You are teething and you chew on your fingers constantly


• The head full of hair you lost is coming back, fast!
• You wear a size 3 diaper


• 6-9 months clothes


• You are eating baby foods, and love them except PEAS!


• You say "DA DA".. loud and clear!


• Laughing, and "talking" all the time.


• Rolling over


• You are a wiggle worm, and very active.


• You sleep from 9:30-9:30.. EVERY night! Unless I wake you up sooner.


• You are a VERY happy baby, you never cry!


• You blow raspberries all the time.


• You weigh 19 1/2 lbs


• Love to watch your big brother play


• You love your bouncy seat!

I posted earlier about Brylen saying "DA DA"

Braycen's first word was "DA DA" too.

Weekend Fun!

We had a pretty busy weekend. Friday night we took Bray to see Toy Story 3.. Which we all LOVED, maybe Branson and I liked it a little more than Braycen did. haha! We laughed. alot! Saturday my mom wanted to go to to a "Peach Festival" about 50 minutes from where we live, for home grown peaches-because she just loves peaches that much! :) Anyway, It rained right when we got there, it was SO hot & to top it all of... There was not a SINGLE peach at this festival! Not to mention, Braycen wanted Ice Cream, so going through all of the food stands he spots one with Ice Cream cones all over it- PERFECT! I stop and ask what kind of Ice Cream they have.. The lady at the window tells me they didn't have any ice cream! WHAT!!? Ha! We were a little irritated! But on our way home we stopped to eat an awesome BBQ place by the river, so that made up for most of it!

Saturday night was pretty low key! We didn't much of anything but hung out around the house and watched TV. Sunday morning rolled around and of course we went to church, and then out to dinner for fathers day at a local cafe that is usually pretty good. But, Sunday was rather different, according the waitress the boss was mad at them so he wouldn't turn on the AC. Nice fathers day dinner, right?! Needless to say we wont be going back! Sunday afternoon some friend of ours invited us over for dinner!

They had tons of yummy food-Steaks, Ribs, Chicken, Potatoes, Corn on the cob, rolls, and yummy cake! We had a great time hanging out, eating and enjoying ourselves! So grateful for such good friends! :) After that we ran over to my brothers & visited with them for a little while & then home! So it was a rather eventful weekend!

Toy Story 3

Branson & I are taking Braycen to see Toy Story 3 tonight! We have been talking to Braycen about it for a few weeks now, and he has been watching 1 & 2 quite a bit! He is really into it right now, and wants everything Toy Story or Cars..

But, im not sure who is more excited, me or him? Not to mention this is his very first trip to the movie theater so, hopefully he loves it and sets through the movie!

My Daddy!

With Fathers Day this weekend, I wanted to take a quick moment & talk about my dad. Mostly at how extremely thankful I am to have him in my life! He has been the best dad & awesome "PAPAW" to my boys! Im so grateful they have such an active grandpa in their life & I have a dad that has ALWAYS been there for me no matter the circumstances!

I remember when I first got married and right away, Branson and I moved 5 1/2 hours away! It was a huge adjustment for me, and I was a little home sick. Him and my mom would come see us at the drop of a hat, and still do! :) He is always checking in on me, and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont talk to him. I love when he randomly calls me while he is at work and checks on me and the boys (but likes to act like he is calling for some random reason!). lol! I LOVE my dad more than I can say, and Im SOO thankful for all that he has done and does!

Tuesday, June 15th...

Brylen said "DADA"... I thought it was the sweetest and cutest thing ever! But, I was no where near as excited as his daddy was! lol Branson has continuously been saying "DA DA" to him every second he has him he was going to MAKE SURE that was his first word! :)

Branson would say "DA DA DA DA DA" over and over again, and then finally Bry would do the the same mouth motions & finally said it! Then, would even repeat it after Branson!

Sooo SWEET!!

Braycen .."In July"

According to Brayce he will be "..In July!"

Anyone can ask him how old he will be on his coming up birthday, and he says "..In July!" I tell him you will be 3. he says "No, Im 5!..I'll be.. In July!"

He's a mess!

But, his Birthday IS coming up in a month! This year he has chose "Cars", and he is pretty excited! He will ask me every morning if that day is his birthday! Im still debating on where to have the party, as of right now its going to be at our house! I have bought several different things for the decor, and have it all planned out! :)

I still can't believe my oldest baby will be 3! My goodness, it really does seem like he was just born yesterday. Now, he is a big brother & growing every single day!
