Christmas at the Veigel's

We had a Very Merry Christmas at the Veigel's.  The day started for me when Jude woke up at 4:30 to eat and just as I put him to bed at 5:00 James decided to wake up.  We have a 7:00 am rule at our hose and James try as he might could not go back to sleep.  Jackson shortly thereafter was joining us in bed too.  7:00 am finally came and we enjoyed the morning.  Here are some pictures.

 Jude slept through the gift part, but was cheerful when he woke up.

 As you will see we got about a million Star Wars Lego and James and Jack built a scene of them on the table and took a few pictures.

 Jackson did not want to stand and take a picture.  He just wanted to get going.

Stars Wars Lego Advent Calendar

This Christmas We did the Star Wars Lego Advent Calendar.  The kids had a great time opening up the little mini lego sets every day.  I have to say they are quite cute little toys

Blast from the Past

Looking through some old pictures and found these of our visit to the Children's Museum in Boston about 3 years ago.  Hilarious!  James with no teeth and Jackson of course is one of a kind.

Pottery Painting

We had a pottery painting night and had a great time.

Fun with Ropes and Jackson 's No Good Very Bad Day

Yesterday was the Cornell Outdoor Education Gear sale and we went. They had sections of 15 foot vinyl rope for $1 a piece. So James and Jackson each got one and began to have fun with their ropes in our backyard.

This tree collapsed on James a little later. Ouch!!

Even Jackson had fun until for some reason he decided to be grouchy.

Trick or Treat

My little Star Wars fans after a long night of hanging out with friends and trick-or-treating in the cold (40s). I'm just grateful the Nor'easter that hit New England with 20" of snow in some areas missed us and we did not have a white Halloween.

Jude didn't dress up since it was too cold for him to go out, but he wanted to be in the post also.

Halloween . . . Star Wars Style

Given our current obsession, these costumes seemed like the right choice. James is an obscure character from Episodes 2 and 3 named Kit Fisto (if you knew that you are a Star Wars nerd just like us!). Jack is Boba Fett, and Jude of course is Yoda. Actual trick or treating might be a little tricky as Jack and James can hardly see out of their masks, but I guess we'll see what we can manage!
