Halloween / Homecoming week, family pumpkin decorating, fall festival, trick or treating

This was a super busy and fun Halloween.  It also happened to be Homecoming week at school so even more costumes were involved.  The girls all wanted matching costumes with their friends (which I made, super cute)!  In addition, we did pumpkin carving with the family, Emma got a car, fall festival at church, and trick or treating at all ends of town with friends.

Emma's friends, aka Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs.  They wore this to school for Disney Day, then several of them met up at Nanner's for trick or treating on Halloween.

Ella and her friends did the same.  They were the 7 Dwarfs with their favorite, Officer Manning, dressing up with them!  They also met up at Nanner and Poppy's for trick or treating on Halloween. (minus OM).

We had the family over to carve pumpkins and eat chili.  These sweeties made some sweets for the night.

The carmel apples were my favorite.  Spidey enjoyed them too.

Sera Kate also learned this cute little jingle.  She will tell you that she can only sing it with Aunt Sissy and not her Daddy because she can, "only say nice words in front of him."

 Ella Mae and Ruth did their own trunk and game, pumpkin tic tac toe.  It was busy all night.

EG had a face painting booth.  She got pretty fancy with her designs.

 Emma did her own trunk as well, in her OWN trunk!!!

 Halloween night we all went separate ways.  EG and her friends got dressed at the house as Disney villains.  Sophie, aka Maleficent, fit in perfectly with Emma and Mark who were Sleeping Beauty and the Prince.  Emma and Mark went to Abby's Halloween party, and the next night went trick or treating at Nanner's.

Eva Grace and her friends went to the Pulliams for a Halloween get together.  They were the cutest villains and planned this theme out for months!  (and brothers the dino and banana).

The candy exchange after trick or treating was very LOUD.  They had a great system though.

After Halloween, I always go through the candy and get rid of all the junk. (aka everything not chocolate I like).  For some reason I couldn't find the candy sacks this year.  Turns out the girls each hid them from me!  Where did they learn that from?  haha.

The Foundation of Arts presents Peter Pan

 Peter Pan at the FOA was one of our all time favorites.  Burt was a hilarious pirate and on the super fly crew, Emma ran the sound,  EG was a lost boy and Ella was a native who glowed in the dark on stage.   The set was so colorful, there was a huge animated crocodile, and kids actually flew across stage.  All 7 shows had packed audiences.
