Bumbo!

Tonight we tried out the BUMBO seat...

Sawyer loves to look around.

He is always wants to be with us...and it is hard while we eat dinner...so Blake thought we should try it out tonight.

Once he got used to it...he loved it!

Discovery Museum!

Today we had a play date at the Discovery Museum with Rhendy, Logan, Lynley, Taylor, Candice, Reese, and Maci! 

 The kids had so much fun together. I don't know how I didn't get any pics of Candice and her girls...mom brain I tell ya!

Tater bug was bored....ha!  I am sure all trips won't be this easy once he can walk!

After we went to Firehouse Pizza (amazing!)  The kids got to sit at there own table...they though they were so cool.  Reese was sitting on the other side.  It was kinda chaotic with all the people and the strollers....but it was a fun time!

We ended the play date at Sugar Mama Bakery.  I was in the mood for cupcakes so we tried it out.  The kids ate cake pops and we got mini cupcakes.  They were really yummy.

The kids did get asked to not play in the front window.  Do you see anything wrong with this picture???  I don't!  The owner didn't want them to break the window I guess...she played it off as safety.  I think she just didn't want these cute kids in the window.  Seriously they were being good....look at them.  So...I am not sure if I will go back...it is a cupcake shop for goodness sake!  Kinda disappointing....

Big Boy Bath!

Sawyer had his first big boy bath tonight!  He LOVED it.  I love in this picture you can really tell he is looking at me thinking...what am I doing?  Clayton of course had to jump in the tub with his brother.  I even let Clayton dump 2 glasses of water on his head.  I don't want Sawyer to be scared of the water...and get used to it....

 nice and relaxed....he was even fussing before because it was time to eat.  But the water seemed to calm him down.

Trying to do the back stroke.....ha!  I think he is ready to go swimming and go to the Ozarks!

2 months...

Sawyer Tate you are 2 Months!  Seriously STOP growing...even though I have to admit I like the older baby stage.  

Sawyer you are much more interactive...and I LOVE it.  Nothing makes an early morning feeding or diaper change better when I can see your smiling face.

You are starting to really smile and coo a lot more.  I even told your Daddy your eyes tell me what you want.  I am not sure if it is because you are a very easy baby, or if I am just more experienced you being my third.

You are officially in size 2 diapers (and still have morning blow outs).  I have been putting you in 6 month clothes and they seem to fit just right.  

You are really into "kicky kicky" as we call it....you move those baby arms and legs a hundred miles an hour.   You seem to have found your hands.  You put them up to your face and look at them.  I remember your baby sister doing the same thing.

It seems like you are officially only getting up once a night.  You go to bed around 9 p.m. and wake up between 2 and 4 a.m. then are ready to get up around 6 a.m.  I can usually get you to snuggle with me if I am still sleepy or you like your swing in the morning.

Your doctors stats are:

height 23 inches 50 %  (I don't think this is right...he was 22 inches when he was born and has really grown since then!)

Your brother at this age was 14 lbs 15 oz.  I am looking forward to the 4 month checkup to see if you two are closer in size....I think you will be.

You still are only fussy if you are hungry.  You are hungry A LOT especially before bed.  You are a very good nurser and get one bottle in the evening of formula...I just can't seem to keep up at night.  You drink about 2-4 ounces each night.  I am fine with that.

Phone Dump!

Ready for bed!  He has no problem going to bed awake, he still loves to be swaddled!  Sometimes he wants his passie...sometimes not.  You just don't know.  He seems to like it more when he is hungry. 

Those lips and eyelashes....melt.

I have been a horrible blogger!  I just don't have time to figure out my new computer.  I think I finally got it.  It has Windows 8 and I love it.  Clayton does too.  It is amazing how kids can figure out electronics.  I don't have my photo editing software on it yet.  So soon I can get back to doing that.  For now it is phone pics and straight out of camera...which is kinda a nice change!  Being on the computer is just the last thing that I really want to do while I am not at work.

Sunday Funday...

Sunday Funday used to mean something different then it does now!  Today it meant my sisters coming over and sitting outside with me on the patio all day...

before we could go out and play...

I told Clayton I needed to vacuum....so he held his

baby Sawyer for me so he wouldn't cry...because

it was time to eat!  Looks like Clayton got him pretty comfortable.  They love each other so much!

I was safe because I have a broken toe!

After Tater bug woke up from his 3 hour nap....he enjoyed the outdoors with us.  (On a side note this is a 6 month onesie!)

The boys have been busy planting so I have really needed some fun adult time.  I told my sisters that they had to come over since they were leaving me Memorial Day weekend to go to the Lake.  

I would say Sawyer loves being outside...the fresh air does a baby good!  And some sister time did me good!

Mother's Day

Happy Mothers Day!  I told Blake all I wanted was a picture of me with my two boys.  I LOVE this picture.  It is funny if you actually look closely...Clayton is holding a rock b/c he wasn't interested in taking a picture with me...but we talked him into it.  I am holding the rock down...Sawyer is fussing so I am holding his passie in.  ha!  But it turned out good!

Last night we spent the evening with Blake's Mom and today mine.  My grandma came down and met Sawyer for the first time.  She couldn't believe how big he is.

Today was a nice relaxing day.  It is always kinda of a hard day without Charlotte, but she made me a better mother then I ever thought possible.  Today for me is all about spending time with my children, especially trying to enjoy the memory of my sweet girl.
