I have decided that fall is my favorite time of year. I love the crisp chill in the air, the beautiful fall colors, leaves, and decorations.
For a singles ward activity we went to a corn maze last week and we had a blast. I have only been to one other corn maze, actually a haunted corn maze in high school and I think the regular corn mazes are my favorite. If you have never been in one you should go. We did make our way to the finish, but we found ourselves going round in circles and we did get lost a couple times. This is an actual a birds eye view of the corn maze we visited. It sure doesn't look like that from the ground.
What is Fall without pumpkins?
While at the grocery store the other day I was drawn to the pumpkins and specifically to a container of pumpkins I had never seen before. They were so cool. I had to buy one just for fun. It is so unique and awesome looking I cant ever bring myself to carving it so it will be a great decoration just as is. I so so intrigued that I came home and looked it up on the internet. The internet has the answers everything. I found out this crazy pumpkin is called a Knucklehead Pumpkin, but I think it looks like the pumpkin has witches warts.
What a weird name. I decided I want to plant these crazy pumpkins in our garden next year.
I looked out the window this morning and couldnt believe that there was really snow on the ground. It has been colder but I wasnt ready for snow quite yet. It did end up melting within a few hours but I guess Winter is coming sooner than I expected.
